The Saints will match up against a familiar foe in the first round, battling Mid-Florida Conference champions the College of Central Florida at 11:00 AM EST (10:00 AM CST) on November 6. The two teams split their season series with one win each, both teams getting victories on the road.

Coach Nick Cheronis and the Saints finished the regular season 21-6 overall, and 7-3 in the Mid-Florida Conference. Santa Fe displayed a balanced attack all season, and did a lot of their damage at the net, racking up 236 blocks. Sophomore Kaylin Powell led the way with 118 total blocks, and freshman Nadine Williams had the most kills through Oct. 26 with 341. Despite missing a good portion of the beginning of the season, sophomore Farah Rajaee picked up where she left off last year, leading Santa Fe in assists with 478.

The winner of the FCSAA Tournament, as well as second place, will both represent the state at the national Tournament in Casper, Wyoming on November 19-21. The third place team will also have a chance to earn a spot through a play-in game on Tuesday, November 10 in Mobile, Alabama against Faulkner State.
