Saints Volleyball season ends in heart-breaking fashion against Indian River

The Santa Fe Saints were on the brink of moving on at the FCSAA Tournament, leading 14-11 in the five set against Indian River, needing just one point to win and move on. The Pioneers had other ideas and scored five straight points, ending the Saints season in devastating fashion.

Indian River took the first set from SF, and the Saints answered with a win in the second to even things up. The Pioneers got within one set of moving on with a win in the third, but SF again evened the score with a win in the fourth set. In the fifth the Saints took control and led the entire way until the improbable comeback by Indian River.

Santa Fe ends their season with a 21-8 record.
