In these tough economic times, many families rely on the Free/Reduced School Meal Program to help feed their children each day. Losing access to this resource during Winter Break can add extra hardship to a financially stressful season. The annual Alachua County Public Schools Holiday Food Drive helps hundreds of local families by providing basic food items and staples for a holiday meal.
The SF family always comes together to help make this food drive a success. If your department would like to participate this year, use the attached PDF as a checklist to complete your food box.
- You may complete as many boxes as you wish. If you have extra items, they will be used to make sure each box has the same contents.
- Empty boxes can be picked up from Heather Domin in room F-42 in the Robertson Administration Building.
- Completed boxes will be picked up on December 9, 2015. Please bring your donations to room F-42.
- Please check all donated items to makes sure nothing has expired. Regulations prevent Alachua County Public Schools from donating expired food.
