The Santa Fe Saints (11-15) Fastpitch team took two tough losses on Tuesday in their Mid-Florida Conference openers, falling to the top team in the country, the college of Central Florida, 8-0 and 8-0.
The Saints will get right back after it on Wednesday when they host USC-Sumter at 2 and 4 p.m. in Gainesville. They return to MFC play on Thursday at home against Lake Sumter State College at 2 and 4 p.m.
