One of Santa Fe College’s own, Multi Media Specialist Aaron Daye, was invited by the American Advertising Federation of Gainesville to be guest speaker at an event held last Thursday. Aaron, who is an employee in the Communications and Creative Services department, spoke on the subject of re-branding. The audience for the event was riveted by Daye’s storytelling-like speech and asked questions pertaining to the art of branding afterwards. Although Daye said he was a bit hesitant in his abilities to speak to an audience of his peers, he said, “I felt really good about the speech afterwards and was comfortable in knowing that my presentation gave the information that people were looking for!” Comments after the speech proved to all be very favorable and people were looking forward to hearing him speak again in the future.
