The Santa Fe Saints couldn’t solve Seminole State College on Thursday afternoon in Sanford, dropping a pair of games to the Mid-Florida Conference second place Raiders. Seminole took the first game of the series 6-1, and game two 8-3. Errors hurt SF (18-24, 5-11 MFC) in both games, but especially in game two when they committed five.
Santa Fe took a 1-0 lead in game two, but three runs in the first, three in the third, and two more in the fourth put the game away. The Saints will try and bounce back when they go on the road Saturday to face Lake Sumter State College in Leesburg at 2:30 and 4:30 PM.
