World Oceans Day is a global day of ocean celebration and collaboration for a better future. This year, people all over our blue planet are celebrating with the theme “Healthy Oceans, Healthy Planet.” Organizations and individuals around the world are promoting prevention of plastic ocean pollution with events in their communities, special announcements, and everything in between!
World Oceans Day has grown tremendously each year since 2003 when this site first launched. With hundreds of partners getting involved and especially since official United Nations-recognition in late 2008. Celebrate with the Santa Fe Zoo TOMORROW! Come have some fun and learn about helping to keep our oceans and planet healthy.
