Pleasant Street Events Drew Crowds and Offered Information on Community Services

NeighborWorks Week is a revitalization event held nationwide each June by NeighborWorks America, a national non-profit organization created by Congress in 1978 to provide financial support, technical assistance and training for community-based revitalization efforts.

Those who attended the event received tons of information offered by representatives of community organizations, including the Santa Fe College Community Outreach and East Gainesville Instruction, Gainesville Regional Utilities, Central Florida Community Action Agency, Supervisor of Elections, the Pleasant Street Historic Society, NHDC, HealthStreet, CareerSource of North Central Florida, and others.
