Cognitive Psychologist Stephen Chew to Lecture at Santa Fe College Sept. 29, 2016

Dr. Stephen Chew, cognitive psychologist and chair of psychology at Samford University, will present a lecture entitled “Improving Student Performance by Addressing Student and Teacher Misconceptions about Learning” on Thursday, September 29, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in WA-104. Explore common misconceptions among both students and teachers that undermine student learning, and learn the key cognitive principles for any pedagogy to be effective.
