The Santa Fe Saints will host “Dig Pink Night” tonight at the Santa Fe Gym when they play Lake Sumter State College in MFC action at 7:00 p.m., October 13, 2016. Fans are encouraged to wear pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Before the match begins at approximately 6:55 p.m., the SF volleyball team will present a $1000 check to the Hope Lodge of Gainesville, money that was raised through the efforts of the players, coaches, and Gainesville community.
The Hope Lodge provides temporary residence for patients and families who travel to Gainesville area cancer treatment centers for daily outpatient treatment. Currently there are more than 30 Hope Lodge locations around the country.

Facing cancer is hard. Having to travel out of town for treatment can make it even harder. Yet the American Cancer Society has a place where cancer patients and their caregivers can find help and hope when home is far away – an American Cancer Society Hope Lodge.
Donations will still be accepted through the duration of tonight’s game with the proceeds going to the Hope Lodge Gainesville.
