SANTA FE PICKS UP A 3-1 ROAD WIN OVER ST. JOHN’S RIVER

Two days after clinching a spot in the FCSAA Tournament, the Saints picked up another win, this time over St. John’s River State College in Palatka, 3-1 (25-21, 14-25, 25-21, 31-29).  The victory moves SF to 15-8, 6-3 MFC.

Sheyanne Sullivan was a force on offense, collecting 17 kills and Sterling Williamson finished with 11 kills.  Defensively Meagan Irish led the way with four blocks and Ashton Marshall had 23 digs.

The Saints will play their final MFC match of the season on Tuesday, October 25 in Ocala against the College of Central Florida at 7:00 PM.

SF will wrap their season up in Daytona on Saturday, October 29 against Miami Dade College.

The FCSAA State Tournament takes place in Bradenton on November 4-6.
