Online Technical Education In ATE Programs

Online Technical Education In ATE Programs

Last week, Santa Fe College was represented at the National Science Foundation Advanced Technology Education Conference by several members of the college.  They presented a collaborative research project between Western Michigan University, Santa Fe Community College and Santa Fe College. This project is investigating ATE (Advanced Technical Education) funded projects that have developed online courses or course elements for technical education. The goal is to know how online components have been integrated, how students and faculty have been impacted by the shift to online delivery, and what would be helpful to others wishing to implement online learning in technical education.
