The “Career Academy Forum” will be held at Buchholz High School from 6-8 p.m. on November 17, 2016. The Alachua County Schools’ CTE Magnet programs are tabling for 8th graders and their parents so students will have an opportunity to see the choices they have for high school. Santa Fe College CTE advisors attend and stand with the high school programs that their SF program is linked to. The high school programs often present some of their activities, such as ice-carving (culinary), livestock (Agriscience), fire truck, police dog, as well as other more traditional displays. Usually over 800 people attend.
