Santa Fe College Community Ed Offers New Social Media & Cloud Computing Classes

Santa Fe College Community Ed is offering three new computer workshops: Facebook 101 for Seniors and Pinterest 101 for Seniors. These workshops will expand your knowledge of the basics of these two social media platforms.

We are also offering Cloud Computing which will explore the benefits & drawbacks of using the cloud.

 

FACEBOOK 101 FOR SENIORS

This course will explore Facebook terms and features such as the homepage, timeline and messaging. Participants will learn how to fill out their profile, set their privacy settings, and join groups online. All ages welcome to register!

PINTEREST 101 FOR SENIORS

In this course, participants will find out more using Pinterest for personal use. They will create 3 Pinterest boards during class and find resources for their personal interests to pin. All ages are welcome to register!

CLOUD COMPUTING

Discover what cloud computing is and its usefulness for everyday computer users. You’ll receive easy and practical exercises to learn to use Google Apps and MS Windows Live.
