Saints Finished Regular Season Against St. Pete and State College of Florida

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe College Saints wrapped up their regular season Friday and Saturday, hosting St. Petersburg College for a double header on Friday, and State College of Florida on Saturday for a pair of games.

Santa Fe College (32-21, 14-10 MFC) took the first game 8-1 against the Titans on Friday.  SF had four extra base hits including homeruns by Bailee Moll and Adrix Paradizo-Ramos. Evelyn Arguelles and Haissette Escudero both doubled.

Game two saw SPC take an early lead but the Saints would rally getting to within one run in the bottom of the seventh. SF scored twice in the frame and had the tying run on base but couldn’t get it across.

Saturday the Saints honored their departing sophomore class, sending them off with a between game ceremony.

The Manatees were victorious in both games of the double header by two 4-3 scores.

The Saints will prepare for the FCSAA Tournament April 28-30 at Historic Dodgertown in Vero Beach.  SF will play Southern Conference champions Indian River State College at 1:30 p.m. April 28, and regardless of the result will play again at 6:30 p.m. against a team to be determined.
