April 26, 2017, Gainesville, Fla. – Santa Fe College will hold Spring 2017 Commencement at the Northwest Campus, April 27 and 28.

“Commencement is the signature event at a good college or university. I join the trustees, faculty and staff in celebrating the success of our students.” – Dr. Jackson N. Sasser, President, Santa Fe College.

Jacobi Bedenfield, 2016-17 President of Student Government, will serve as special guest speaker at the Friday, April 28, 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. ceremony.

The Nurse’s Pinning and graduation ceremony will be held Thursday, April 27, 2017, at noon in the gym. Students graduating with an A.S., A.A.S., B.A.S., B.S., and VC’s will walk during the Friday, 3 p.m. ceremony and students graduating with an A.A. (Liberal Arts) will walk during the Friday, 7 p.m. ceremony.

Tickets are color-coded and required for both ceremonies Friday. Each SF graduate has had the opportunity to received four tickets in advance. Guests must present tickets to enter the gym. Guests without tickets may view a live-stream of the ceremonies in the SF Fine Arts Hall or in the Building E Auditorium.

Once the processional begins, the doors to the gym will be closed. Anyone arriving late will be directed to the Fine Arts Hall or Building E Auditorium.
