Shimmer – Make Your Good Proposal GREAT

Shimmer – Make Your Good Proposal GREAT

June 12, 2017 – Join the Santa Fe College Sponsored Projects Office on Friday, June 16, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in R-01 for the monthly Grants 101 session.

This month’s session will be “Shimmer – Make Your Good Proposal GREAT.”  For projects to be funded, the proposal needs to stand out and speak passionately.  Bev Browning, a best-selling ghost writer, will explain her technique “Shimmer,” which refers to the transparent layers that create subtle dimension in written work. Knowing how to craft sentences to manipulate a response and amplify meaning is a technical amalgamation of art and science. Once mastered, it’s the difference between a good piece and a great one.

Lunch is provided with pre-registration. Contact Nancee Oftelie at nancee.oftelie@sfcollege.edu or 352-395-5051.
