August 21, 2017 – Congratulations are in order for Santa Fe College Police Sergeant Mark Barley. Sgt. Barley was one of 37 first-line supervisors from the 39th Florida Leadership Academy Class who graduated Friday, Aug. 18, 2017.
The graduates of the program met for four weeklong sessions at the Gainesville Police Department and learned skills needed to support their agencies and communities.
The Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute is housed in the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and affiliated with the State University System. It was established in 1990 by the Florida Legislature to address the need for improved training for law enforcement officials.
