September 27, 2017 – The Certificate for Online Design and Instruction (CODI) begins Monday, October 2, 2017. CODI aims to help instructors new to online teaching, or those looking to improve, create rich and vibrant learning experiences for our online students. We will cover issues like instructor feedback, presence, accessibility and active learning in an online context. Instructors will participate in an online cohort with faculty from across all disciplines. While there is a timeline that the course follows, instructors are able to pace themselves and make adjustments based on their schedules and commitments.
The course typically takes between 25-30 hours to complete. Participants can register for the course on the CT3 website. Please feel free to email the program facilitator, Jason Frank firstname.lastname@example.org, if you have any questions.
There is a short promotional video to prepare for the course available here.
