November 6, 2017 – The Santa Fe College Collegiate Veterans Society, SF veterans and Civic Engagement Service (CES) will be holding a Veterans Day Observance Wednesday, Nov. 8, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the lobby of the Lawrence W. Tyree Library.
Starting at 10 a.m., there will be remarks from Veterans and Military Success Services Coordinator Sandra Torres Pintos. She is a retired Sergeant Major of the United States Marine Corps. Matthew Burke, a retired Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force will be the guest speaker.
There will also be a student veteran panel beginning at 10:30 a.m. Bristol Rigby (Navy), Alex Blust (Marines), Eric Peterson (Army), and Laura Llanos (Coast Guard) will comprise the student panel.
There will be a reception and exhibit starting at 11 a.m.
Santa Fe College salutes all who served our nation.
