Santa Fe College President Jackson N. Sasser released the following statement to SF students, faculty and staff ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday:
Dear Santa Fe College Family,
Since this time last year we have experienced challenges to freedom of speech, threats to our safety, illness in some cases, serious health problems affecting families and friends, and a national political scenario that the most imaginative writer could not script. Against this backdrop, my hope is that we can pause a few moments over the next few days to contemplate the blessings we have shared during this same period.
May this be the richest time ever with your friends and family. Please travel safely and I look forward to your return as we prepare to complete fall semester 2017.
