January 4, 2018 – Like the Santa Fe College men the day before, the SF women started 2018 off on the right foot, winning a big game on the road over Broward College, 77-73. Janasia Law had a great offensive night, scoring 25 points, double her season average of 12.5 ppg.
The Saints led by five after the first half and held on to the five-point lead heading into the fourth quarter, 58-53.
SF did what they needed to do over the final 10 minutes and picked up a big road win to move to 9-8 on the season, winning their second straight game.
Ivana Boyd finished with 17 points, Stephanie Jackson had 16, and Brianna Richardson scored nine.
The Saints will open Mid-Florida Conference play Jan. 6 at home against Florida State College-Jacksonville at 2 p.m. Fans can watch live on the Saints Sports Network.
