Jackson Goes for 32, Saints Down Central Florida 79-73

January 18, 2018 – The Santa Fe Saints women’s basketball team stayed on top of the Mid-Florida Conference standings Wednesday evening, picking up a big win over the College of Central Florida 79-73 in front of a packed crowd on Student Appreciation Night.

Stephanie Jackson led the way for SF, scoring a career-high 32 points, including six three-pointers and was 12-for-14 from the free throw line.

The Saints (12-9, 3-0 MFC) used a strong second quarter to build a nine-point lead at the half fighting off a second half surge by the Patriots to secure the win.

Joining Jackson in double figures were Julie Fournier with 13 and Yvonne Ford had 10.

The Saints will host non-conference opponent Palm Beach State College Saturday, Jan. 20 at 2 p.m.
