Michael M. Goldwire Named to SF Board of Trustees

February 12, 2018 – Michael M. Goldwire, president of Goldwire Associates, Inc., in Starke, Florida, has been named to the Santa Fe College Board of Trustees. Goldwire is a graduate of Bradford High School and went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida. He also attended Emory University and Nova Southeastern University for postgraduate studies.

Santa Fe College President Jackson N. Sasser lauded the appointment. “Governor Scott has a record of appointing distinguished men and women to the Board of Trustees of Santa Fe College,” Sasser stated. “Mr. Michael M. Goldwire’s recent selection, representing Bradford County, follows in this tradition. He is a learned, inventive and principled professional.”

In addition to Goldwire Associates, Inc., Goldwire and his wife co-founded MamaDearCares.com, an online private community for professional women with children from birth to 4 years of age.

Goldwire is a military veteran who served as an Army Intelligence Officer in Vietnam before beginning his business career.

He has served in various community organizations, including Kiwanis, Rotary, Kairos Prison Ministry (FSPW), Vestry and Diocesan Council of the Episcopal Church, Eagle Scout and local representative of the Boy Scouts, mentor with Communities in Schools, and board member of Bradford Food Pantry.

Goldwire’s term on the SF Board of Trustees will expire in 2021.
