February 15, 2018 – Daytona, FL – The Santa Fe Saints lead Daytona State in the second half of their Mid-Florida Conference tilt, but couldn’t hold on, falling to the Falcons 69-64.

Santa Fe (20-8, 6-4 MFC) lead by a point after the first half and lead late in the second period, but a run by Daytona put them up for good in the closing minutes.  DSC hit their free throws down the stretch helped seal the game.

The Falcons outscored SF by 10 at the charity stripe.

Darrell Jones was the main offensive weapon for the Saints.  Jones scored 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting and also had seven rebounds.  Alsean Evans and Ivan Smith had nine points each.

Santa Fe has two regular season games remaining, the first of which will occur on Wednesday, February 21 at 8:00 p.m. on Faculty Appreciation Night at the SF Gym.
