February 22, 2018 – Santa Fe College students, faculty and staff are invited to the latest SF2UF Bridge Program lecture featuring Dr. Josephine Allen. The lecture, titled “Cell Engineering and Biomaterial Strategies for Tissue Engineering” will be held Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, at 12:30 p.m. in Building P, Room 131.
Dr. Allen will discuss her research as well as reaching a medical crossroad of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Allen is on the faculty in the Department of Materials Science & Engineering in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering at UF, and has been awarded grants from the National Institute of Health for her research in cellular behavior in vascular settings.
