March 29, 2018 – The fifth annual Santa Fe College Career and Technical Showcase will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Gainesville. The showcase will feature SF’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and the business partners that support those programs. Attendees to the showcase will be able to get information on the educational programs they will need in order to pursue their desired career path.
Business members will be at the showcase to speak with attendees one-on-one about what a career is like in their field of choice.
SF’s CTE programs prepare students for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill and high-demand careers upon graduation. CTE programs include Associate in Science degrees, certificate programs and apprenticeships. Curriculum is designed in collaboration with community partners to allow SF to tailor its programs to meet the needs of the changing job market.
The Career and Technical Showcase is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Monica Cabrera at 352-395-5973 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
