49th Annual SF Spring Arts Festival Launches This Weekend

April 5, 2018 – For the 49th year, the Santa Fe College Spring Arts Festival will be held in downtown Gainesville Saturday and Sunday, April 7-8, 2018. The event, which draws over 100,000 visitors annually to the streets of downtown Gainesville features artists and craftspeople from across the country and around the world working in mediums from painting, sculpture, jewelry, glass, ceramics and more.

This year’s SF Spring Arts Festival will also feature a full schedule of performing artists on two different stages: the Actors’ Warehouse at 619 NE First Street and the Bo Diddley Plaza at 111 E. University Avenue. There will be an evening concert with local band GrüvTherapy opening for the headliner, guitarist Taylor Roberts, at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at the Bo Diddley Plaza.

Festival hours are 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 7, and noon-5 p.m. Sunday, April 8. The location is Northeast (NE) First Street from 2nd Avenue to 8th Avenue in downtown Gainesville. Admission is free.
