Dr. Sasser’s Challenge to SF Faculty and Staff Featured in Gainesville Sun

August 14, 2018 – Santa Fe College President Dr. Jackson N. Sasser is preparing for the upcoming fall term by challenging the faculty and staff to confront implicit bias. During next week’s Fall convocation, Dr. Sasser will present studies that demonstrate how bias impacts the educational system and what SF faculty and staff can do to create a more hospitable environment for all students, and reduce the equity gaps in the community.

President Sasser recently sat down with Gainesville Sun to discuss the issue, and the goals SF has working toward eliminating implicit bias.
