August 16, 2018 – Artist Kevin Bongang will be creating two murals on the Santa Fe College Northwest Campus during the week of Aug. 20-24. The murals will be on the east wall of the Food Court, next to the SF Bookstore, and on the west, back-facing wall of Building M.
Born in Cameroon, West Africa and raised in Savannah, Georgia, Bongang majored in illustration at the Atlanta College of Art and Savannah College of Art and Design, where he was able to hone his signature style awash in bold colors, swirling lines and out-there imagery with a result that’s cohesive and truly unique. These days, he’s collaborated with the likes of Bucketfeet footwear, Comcast, Bonnaroo Music Festival, MailChimp and more.
SF students, faculty and staff are invited to stop by the areas by the Food Court and Building M to see the Bongang murals as they are being created.
