September 5, 2018 – Santa Fe College is hosting a President’s Leadership Seminar (PLS) to introduce individuals in all classifications at our college to leadership as it is best practiced in our nation’s colleges. The seminar will be led by President Jackson N. Sasser.
“Santa Fe College’s success as the nation’s number one college is based on our talented and innovative employees,” said President Sasser. “Many of you have the potential to become college leaders. Our college has a strong heritage of leadership. While it is a loss when outstanding leaders retire, we are emboldened when we look at the skills and talents of new and current employees. This seminar will be inclusive and I encourage anyone interested in taking their service and leadership skills to the next level to apply. This includes supervisors and non-supervisors, faculty and any motivated members of career service, professional and administrative classifications.”
The seminar is scheduled for October 24 through October 26, 2018. The application deadline is Sept. 18. Approximately 25 SF employees will be selected.
The application is available online at sfcollege.edu/pls. After filling out the application, you will have the opportunity to upload the required documents for completion. Please send Cheryl Farrell, PLS Coordinator, an email confirming your submission. Questions regarding the seminar or process may be directed to her at 395-5181 or cheryl.farrell@sfcollege.edu.
