Santa Fe College Reopens Dental Clinic After $1.6M Renovation project

October 22, 2018 – Students in Santa Fe College’s dental programs will have a new, state-of-the-art clinic to learn how to become the hygienists and dental assistants of tomorrow.

The clinic, located on SF’s Northwest Campus, Building W, Room 71, was closed over the summer as it underwent a $1.6 million dollar renovation. The upgrade provides additional space, enhanced equipment and mimics clinical facilities students will be working in upon graduation.

The dental clinic is open to the public, and offers services including, x-rays, cleanings, fillings, crowns, sealants and fluoride treatments. Treatment is performed by students under the supervision of faculty.

The new facility will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday, Nov. 15, from 5-7 p.m. to celebrate the grand opening. The ribbon cutting will be open to the public.

Santa Fe College’s accredited dental programs offer students the option of earning a certificate for Dental Assisting in 10 months, as well as an associate degree in either Dental Hygiene or Dental Hygiene Bridge.
