The women’s team, led by SF freshman Danasia Gamble’s career high 24 points, dominated FSC-J with a 91-38 win Saturday afternoon.

“We are very proud of how hard our team played today,” said SF head coach Chanda Stebbins.

“I liked our defensive effort and really enjoyed watching our offensive execution .”

“It’s never easy to win on the road,” said Saints head coach Chris Mowry. “I felt we had a good defensive effort all game. Everyone played, and everyone contributed. I’m happy for our players.”

Brady Fernandes finished with 14 points, while Admir Besovic also hit double figures for the Saints with 12 points.

The Saints host Daytona State at the SF gym Wednesday evening immediately following the women’s game. Tip off is expected to be approximately 8 p.m.
