May 1, 2019 – It’s unusual for faculty to work with Communications & Creative Services, since they have the Center for Academic Technologies to help with their instructional materials. But when a faculty member works beyond the classroom, organizing recruiting events that put the Santa Fe College brand on the map in our local community, the CCS doors are open!
Dr. Sarah Cervone is a shining example of a faculty member who checks in with CCS about how best to collaborate on her marketing her efforts in the community. Her projects have included fliers and social media campaigns to promote African studies and foreign language program information sessions, and an Instagram series for Visit Gainesville depicting field trips with her students.
Currently an adjunct professor of anthropology, Dr. Cervone will become a full-time assistant professor of humanities at the beginning of the fall 2019 semester. Congratulations for going full time, and for being April’s Brand Ambassador!
