May 14, 2019 – Each year, Santa Fe College honors full-time Career Service employees with S.T.A.R. Awards. The Career Service Council accepts nominations near the end of spring term, reviews the submissions and one employee is honored for their dedicated service to the college and advancing SF’s mission of adding value to the lives of our students and enriching the community. S.T.A.R. nominees are selected for their Service, Teamwork, Attitude and Reliability.
This year’s nominees were Raqual Crawford, Paula Gainey, Missy Hamlow, Wanda Howard-Holmes, Joseph Jester, Lois Jones, Julie McGrath, Mike Muhlhauser, Carol Pugh, Sonny Richardson and Cindy Salvadori.
The S.T.A.R. Award winner for 2019 was Krystal Nelson, who works in Student Life.
