Santa Fe College Hosts Session on Empathy

May 16, 2019 – Santa Fe College will host a professional development opportunity on “Relearning Empathy and Active Listening.” The session will be held from 10 a.m. until noon, Friday, June 7, at the UF@SF Center on SF’s Northwest Campus.

The presentation, presented by the Alachua County Crisis Center, will help attendees respond to our students and each other in a confident, empathetic and caring matter.

True active listening and empathy are some of the most powerful and rewarding forms of help we can provide. The Crisis Center staff and volunteers will provide the training on how to do exactly that.

Registration is required to attend and you need to register by May 24, 2019.

Join your colleagues as we seek to take an honest look at ourselves and learn from experienced mental health counselors.
