I’m gay, I’m Latino, I’m Jewish and I’m an immigrant so that makes me a part of a lot of minorities, and I feel proud. People here at Santa Fe College accept me for who I am. That’s important for me because I accept other people for who they are.

I heard some friends in Venezuela talking about SF and I was really interested. As a U.S. citizen, diversity is very important to me. It’s what I love and what I’m passionate to talk about. We’re all humans. I know that sounds cliché but some people need to know that in this country. We’re a country full of different races, religions, sexualities and colors.

I feel very passionate about education. I believe it’s the most powerful weapon in the world.
