August 15, 2019 – Students will return for the start of fall term and classes will begin Tuesday. In advance of the new term, Santa Fe College’s fall convocation will be held in the Fine Arts Hall Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, starting at 9 a.m. Convocation is one of the most important events of the academic year as it sets the college on the course it will take for the fall term and beyond.
SF President Dr. Jackson N. Sasser says that although this will be his final convocation to faculty and staff, it will not be a retrospective of his time at the college, but rather, it will be an opportunity to discuss the “venerable pillars of the college that anchor us.”
All SF faculty and staff who are able are encouraged to attend. Fall Convocation begins at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, in the SF Fine Arts Hall and is preceded by light refreshments beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the lobby.
