Construction at Fine Arts Hall to Affect Staff Parking Spaces

The south side parking by the SF FIne Arts Hall will be closed off for a construction project between August 27, 2019, and early January 2020.

August 19, 2019 – It’s not just the Building E Auditorium getting a renovation this fall, Santa Fe College’s Fine Arts Hall will also be getting a bit of a facelift during the fall term. The stucco around the building, completed in 2011, will be getting repaired where possible and replaced where necessary.

SF employees who normally park in Parking Lot 3 near the Fine Arts Hall will see work crews arriving sometime on or around Tuesday, Aug. 27. Portions of Parking Lot 3, along the south side of the Fine Arts Hall, will be closed off during the project. These spaces will include both staff and general parking.

Employees can still access Parking Lot 3 via Administration Road, however, they will only be able to turn right into Parking Lot 3 as the spaces to the left will be blocked off during the construction.

The project is expected to be completed in early 2020.
