September 16, 2019 – Santa Fe College offers a volunteer-run food pantry in Building H on Monday mornings with non-perishable goods and fresh bakery items available to SF students and employees. The food pantry receives most of their inventory from the SF Teaching Zoo’s Boo at the Zoo event every Halloween where guests bring canned goods as their entry to the event. The food pantry inventory is currently critically low with almost two months to go before the next Boo at the Zoo event.
The SF Food Pantry team is requesting donations of non-perishable food items to sustain the pantry and continue to serve the SF community in the coming months. Donations can be dropped off at the Santa Fe College Police Department which is open 24 hours a day.
