September 23, 2019 – Santa Fe College President Dr. Jackson Sasser released the following statement concerning the death of former SF student Kevin Walker.
Dear Santa Fe College Family,
The sadness we suffered last week in the passing of a young man near our Fine Arts Hall deepened when we learned additional information. Former student Kevin Walker is a veteran.
As we interact with over 800 veterans at one of our sites today, I know we will all be aware and remain respectful. For all student/veterans, civilian students, and those of us who knew Kevin, please know we hold you in our thoughts today.
Our well-credentialed, expert and caring counselors at the SF Counseling Center are prepared to receive our students who desire or need their services. In addition, the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available to serve all full-time and part-time employees.
