EXTRA Transportation Service Available to Students in Southwest and Northern Alachua County

EXTRA Shuttle Service for Santa Fe College students

October 16, 2019 – Beginning in the Spring 2020 semester, MV transportation will be providing transportation disadvantaged people access to Santa Fe College’s Northwest Campus via the EXTRA Shuttle. The EXTRA Shuttle will provide daily round-trip service from rural communities surrounding Gainesville to the Northwest Campus each morning and back each afternoon every weekday when classes are in session at SF.

There are currently two routes scheduled. One will serve Archer and Newberry, the other will serve High Springs and Alachua. The EXTRA Shuttle service is supported by a grant from the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged. There are only a limited number of transportation vouchers are available. Current and future students may apply for a transportation voucher at www.sfcollege.edu/extra.

 

Route 1: Morning to SF                                                                                Route 1: Afternoon Leaving SF

8:10 a.m. – pick-up at Davis Center in Archer                                              2:00 p.m. Leave Northwest Campus (from Building S)

8:25 a.m. – pick-up at Park and Ride in Newberry                                       2:35 p.m. – drop off at Park and Ride in Newberry

9:00 a.m. drop off at Northwest Campus (Building S)                                  2:50 p.m. – drop off at Davis Center in Archer

8:15 a.m. – pick-up at Community Center in High Springs                         2:00 p.m. Leave Northwest Campus (from Building S)

8:25 a.m. – pick-up at Hitchcock’s in Alachua                                             2:15 p.m. – drop off at Hitchcock’s in Alachua

8:50 a.m. drop off at Northwest Campus (Building S)                                 2:30 p.m. – drop off at Community Center in High Springs
