October 28, 2019 – Santa Fe College will be hosting its annual College Night, Monday, Nov. 4, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the SF gym on the Northwest Campus, 3000 NW 83rd Street, Gainesville. More than 80 different colleges and universities from around the region and across the country will be attending, recruiting and giving interested students’ information. College Night had originally been scheduled for September, but the event was canceled after the college announced it would be closed in advance of the approach of Hurricane Dorian.
This event is for both high school and college students. Students are encouraged to come prepared to engage with recruiters from various colleges from across the nation. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Students should bring a writing utensil, notepad, and resume.
“College Night brings colleges and universities right to our students,” said Ismelda Alvarez, SF’s pre-college advisor. “This is a great opportunity for students to meet college and university reps from around the country! I hope that nobody misses out.”
