Proposed Bylaws Changes to Constituent Groups Represented by the College Senate

October 29, 2019 – The Executive Committee of the College Senate at Santa Fe College is proposing a change to the College Senate’s by-laws. Specifically, there is a proposed change in the constituent groups represented in College Senate meetings. The proposed change is below.

ARTICLE II: Executive Council

Section A. Membership

The constituent groups will be reviewed each Fall at the first meeting of the Executive Council. These groups shall be as follows:

a.) Full-time Personnel

2) Administration

3) Advisement

4) Business Programs

5) Centers and Continuing Education

6) Communications and Development

7) Construction and Technical Programs

8) Education

9) English

10) Facilities & Finance

11) Fine Arts

12) Disabilities Resources, Diversity and Grant Programs

13) Health Sciences

14) High School Dual Enrollment

15) Humanities and Foreign Languages

16) Information Technology Education

17) Information Technology Services

18) Institute of Public Safety

19) Library & CAT

20) Mathematics

21) Natural Sciences

22) Nursing

23) Records / Admissions / Financial Aid

24) Social and Behavioral Sciences
