SF’s Ethics Bowl Team Finishes Eighth in Regional Tournament

November 12, 2019 – The Santa Fe College Ethics Bowl team competed in the Southeast Regional Ethics Bowl in Jacksonville over the weekend. Following four rounds of competition, covering eight Ethics Bowl cases, SF finished eighth out of 18 teams. The Southeast Regional Ethics Bowl consisted of both two- and four-year schools, and SF topped teams including UCF, UNF and Auburn University.

Particularly noteworthy was the significant presence SF had at this year’s competition, with 11 collegiate students, one high school dual enrollment student, one team alumna, five faculty and two parents in attendance.

The SF Ethics Bowl team benefited greatly from their experience in the regional tournament, and will now prepare for their next competition, the Two-Year Bowl in San Antonio, Saturday, Nov. 23.
