SF Automotive Students Earn Honors From the SkillsUSA Automotive Service Training Competition

March 9, 2020 – Santa Fe College students in SF’s Automotive programs competed in the SkillsUSA Automotive Service Training Competition in Inverness last month. SF students Valdos Kim and Travis Legall won second and third place respectively in the postsecondary division. John Thomas, a student in SF’s High School Dual Enrollment, won third place in the secondary division.

All three students are eligible to compete at the state competition to be held at Pensacola State College April 19-21, 2020.

The three are enrolled in the Automotive Service Management Technology A.A.S. degree program, and instructed by SF’s Chester Cowart, who is also the SkillsUSA advisor.
