May 26, 2020 – The Association of Florida Colleges (AFC) Student Development Commission recognizes outstanding programs and professionals in the student development field. Judges from across the state screen applicants down to three finalists. Last week, those finalists presented at the AFC Student Development Commission Virtual Conference hosted by Seminole State College. Santa Fe College’s Educational Talent Search (ETS) was named a finalist for their creation of a noncognitive skills course in CANVAS designed to demystify the college experience for ETS program participants.
SF’s program received the 2020 AFC Student Development Commission’s Exemplary Practice Award, besting presentations from Eastern Florida State College and St. Petersburg College.
