COVID-19 Professional Development Training Module Available to SF Faculty and Staff

June 23, 2020 – Santa Fe College faculty and staff can access the college-approved COVID-19 professional development training module available in Canvas. The training, Safe Santa Fe: COVID-19 Employee, is designed to provide information about COVID-19 and how it spreads. You will also learn steps you can take to protect yourself, make sure your work environment is appropriately sanitized and tips to navigate life with the pandemic.

Although all employees, who have not already been working on-site, will be notified to complete the training two weeks before their expected return to onsite operations, college officials have made the training available immediately. All employees will be required to take the professional development training at least three days before their return.

Successfully completing the training by passing all the quiz questions will be required of all employees. It can be completed in an hour and a half or less, and may be done during normal business hours.

Upon completion of the training, you will be able to download or print out a certificate. You should forward a copy of your certificate to your supervisor and Human Resources at human.resources@sfcollege.edu.

If you have trouble accessing the course in Canvas, please contact the Canvas Help at canvashelp@sfcollege.edu or 352-395-7344.
