Santa Fe College’s Office of Access & Inclusion is hosting the Racial Equity Institute’s “Measuring Racial Inequity: A Groundwater Approach Plus” September 4th, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Online. This special Groundwater Plus presentation will be a full-day introduction to Racial Equity offered to both SF employees and students. In this presentation, REI organizers will use stories and data to present an argument that racism is fundamentally structural in nature. By examining characteristics of modern-day racial inequity, the presentation introduces participants to an analysis that most find immediately helpful and relevant.
