Congratulations to Participants of the B.A.S. Health Services Administration “Moving for Health: Every Step Counts” Six-week Competition!
 The competition has come to an end.  A big “Thank You” to the 31 students who journeyed 3,360 miles together between October 26-Dcember 6, surpassing our goal of 2,000 miles by 68%! Everyone did great job. The following winners will be awarded $25 gift cards:

The competition ends on December 6. We have daily goal of 6,500 steps per individual and collectively have travelled 3,038 miles to date.

“Moving for Health” Virtual Competition!

“Moving for Health: Every Step Counts” is a six-week virtual competition to encourage activities promoting good health, team building, and fun interactions among Santa Fe College students.
A person standing on a concrete surface Description automatically generatedHow it Works: Each individual’s steps as well as the average number of steps for each team will be tracked during the competition using smartphones, fitness watches, or manual entries on the MoveSpring app. Every week, the top three students with the highest number of steps will be awarded prizes.
There will also be friendly team competitions. The number of steps per individuals and average number of steps per team will be updated in real time, and participants will have access to this information.
When it Starts:
The competition will begin on Monday, October 26 at 12:01 a.m. Students will be able to join the event up until the last week of the competition.
How to Prepare:
